imageMichael Wolf was born in Munich, Germany. He grew up in the USA and studied at UC Berkley and at the University of Essen in Germany. He has been living and working as a photographer and author in China for ten years.


His latest book, a trip through one of the most densely populated areas of the world, is also a journey through a strangely underpopulated place, inhabited only by the traces of city dwellers.
