We missed the Diller & Scofidio “Blur”  building in Yverdon-les-Bains because of severe weather conditions, but can tell you that the steel structure is completed and they are currently installing the fog system.

Continuing “site seeing”  and collecting future features…

Following in several contemporary architect’s footsteps, Nouvel, Calatrava and Piano, we stayed at the outstanding “La Cour des Loges” hotel in the Renaissance Quarter of Lyon; the largest in France.

A lot more about the hotel, decorated by artist HervŽ Thibault, in our future travel section.

We always visit the local architecture book shop for information. If in Lyon don’t miss the Librairie Moniteur.

Next stop San Sebastian, Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela…
